Today, is the day of Ashura ...
The day that centuries ago, a piece of land called "Karbala" witnessed it all ... that ... how brave a "small group of dedicated souls" can make history ... It witnessed by itself that how beautiful it gets when a small group of people who just "chose" to want nobody but Hagh, showed the generations not to keep silent seeing an unjust and not to accept whatever except Him (Allah) the Almighty and His eternal rule ...
Today is Ashura ... and they say ... "Every day is Ashura" ...
Today, not very far from our homes, people are dying in masses ... human rights are being ignored and trashed every single minute ... In Gaza, in Iran, in Iraq, in Afghanistan ... and in many many other places ... women and kids are always the main victims ... Nobody hears the cries of the voiceless asking for help from savage, brutality and ignorance ...
Today, the "unjust" is present and powerful than ever before ... If the "unjust" was obvious at that time, today they are often dressed as "just" and are very well justified ...
Today, Imam (Salaam khodaa bar oo va rooh-e man fadaay-e vojood-e nazanin-e oo) is lonelier than ever ... There are not even 72 people around him! ... and the army of Yazid is stronger and crowded than ever before ...
Today, "Oliyaay-e Khodaa" (Salaam Hagh bar aanaan) are very alone ... have been surrounded by the unjust evil and lost and confused supporters ... No helpers! ... No supporters! and no defenders!
Today is Ashura ... the dawn of a night that we all gathered in Masjids and cried for Imam Hossein (PBUH) but ... again on this very day ... we have left him alone again, by going after our businesses, our classes, our researches and after our daily errands ... and he ... who is asking for help by his last power that "Is there anyone from helpers to help me?" ... and where are "we" standing now? ...
Today is Ashura ... and this very land is Karbala ...
If then, it was only one piece of land called "Karbala" ... today, the whole world is our Karbala ...
Today is Ashura ... May every day for us be Ashura ...
